Vendors must be qualified individuals and/or organizations for the procurement of select goods and/or services, and must meet a set of predetermined criteria through a formal procurement process to become an HISD approved vendor.

Failure to provide the required HUB documentation will be considered noncompliant. If a company is deemed noncompliant, it can lead to disqualification from the provision of goods and services to the district for current and/or future projects.

Proposals will be evaluated using a weighted scoring methodology, with the district awarding the proposal to the lowest responsive and/or responsible respondent whose proposal is most advantageous to the district, considering criteria such as NYSED certification coverage, staff qualifications, experience, capacity to guarantee service delivery, quality of service delivery plan, references, past performance, and pricing.

Respondents must demonstrate the ability to provide instructional staff holding valid NYSED certifications in specified areas and must employ or contract with instructional staff who possess valid NYSED certification in at least one approved certification area.

Failure to provide sufficient and required information may result in the proposal being rejected by the district as nonresponsive and not being considered. A proposal may be disqualified for lack of response to a request for missing information or clarification.
