Vendors must provide evidence of criminal background checks or evidence of current employment in the RCCSD or other State of Delaware public school district, and a State of Delaware license for assistive technology specialist staff with a minimum of 3 years of experience in delivering related services in a school setting. They must also demonstrate continuing education offerings for their professional staff and provide records of training in current practices on a yearly basis.
In the event the contractor does not fulfill its obligations under the terms and conditions of this contract, the Red Clay Consolidated School District may purchase equivalent product on the open market, and any difference in cost between the contract prices and the open market price shall be the responsibility of the contractor.
The districts may also request bidders to submit samples for examination and appraisal. Requested samples shall be submitted at no cost to the districts and may be required either prior to, at the time of the bid opening, or within ten calendar days following the request. Samples not provided as requested will be a reason to reject the bid for that item.
