RFP for reroofing of White Oak Locker Room, Gym, and Admin Building. Proposals due July 21, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Mandatory site visit on June 15, 2026, at 10:00 AM at White Oak High School. Contract duration from award through 07/30/2027, with a possible two-year extension. Work to begin within 90 days of receipt of order. Award will be made to the most advantageous proposal. Includes base bid and alternate bid for admin building. Contractor responsible for labor, equipment, cleanup, and disposal of debris. Requires 1-year warranty on labor and workmanship, 20-year NDL manufacturer warranty on materials, and 10-year watertightness warranty.
Work is required to begin within 90 days after receipt of order. The contract is intended to cover requirements from the date of award through 07/30/2027, with a possible extension of two years.
Payment terms are net not later than 30 days after receipt of a correct invoice or acceptance of goods, whichever is later. Onslow County Schools does not agree in advance to pay costs such as interest, late fees, penalties, or attorneys fees.
Contractor shall warranty labor and workmanship for a period of one (1) year to be free from all defects. Upon completion, the contractor will furnish the manufacturer's 20-year or longer full value NDL full system warranty on materials, and a 10-year water tightness warranty, and a 2-year contractor's workmanship warranty.
The award of the contract will be made to the vendor whose proposal is shown to be most advantageous to Onslow County Schools, considering factors such as prices offered, quality, general reputation, performance capabilities, conformity with specifications, suitability for intended use, related services, and delivery/performance dates.
Proposals may be subject to rejection unless submitted on the provided form. Vendors must comply with all requirements specified in the document. The district may require additional information or presentation by proposer to substantiate vendor's responsibility.
In the event of default by the vendor, Onslow County Schools may procure goods and services from other sources and hold the vendor responsible for any excess costs. The contract may be terminated for cause, and the vendor may be debarred from future business.
Prospective bidders are urged to visit the site. The site visit will be Monday, June 15, 2026, at 10:00 AM at White Oak High School, **** Piney Green Rd, Jacksonville, NC **** of a bid constitutes evidence of compliance with site conditions.
When an offeror wants to protest a contract awarded by Onslow County Schools, a written request must be received in the purchasing department within ten (10) consecutive calendar days from the date of the contract award.
Proposals may be subject to rejection if not submitted on the required form, if additional terms and conditions are submitted, or if there are deviations from specifications that are not clearly pointed out. Failure to execute/sign the offer prior to submittal may render the proposal invalid.
