The contractor must have direct experience in providing onsite document destruction operations for PHI/PII and hard drive destruction within healthcare facilities in the past 36 months. The contractor must be AAA certified by NAID, bonded, and insured. Liability insurance of $1,000,000 is required. A HIPAA Business Associate Agreement must be signed prior to the contract start date. The government will evaluate contractor performance according to a quality assurance surveillance plan.
