The New Jersey Water Supply Authority is seeking bids for the purchase and delivery of water treatment chemicals, specifically Sodium Hypochlorite and Polyauminum Chloride, for the Manasquan Water Treatment Plant. Bidders must submit a complete response in accordance with the format in section v. Questions must be received no later than ten calendar days prior to the bid response date. The bid must arrive at the issuing office on or before the date and time specified on the bid form. The authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The contract will consist of the invitation for bid including these terms and conditions, the technical specifications, the contractors bid price, any amendments or modifications, and any attachments, addenda or other supporting documents of the foregoing. The successful bidder will be required to furnish the necessary insurance certificates within ten calendar days after the contract is presented for signature. Bidders must complete the noncollusion affidavit section v evidencing the bid has been submitted in good faith. All bids submitted shall be accompanied by a bid security amounting to not less than ten 10 percent of the total bid price, or 20, 000 whichever is less.
