This is a term contract for a single company to provide armed and unarmed security guards on an as-needed basis for campus events. The contract will be awarded to the company that receives the highest score based on a combination of technical evaluation (history and past performance, marketplace, responsiveness, interview) and cost, aiming for the best value.
Bidders must be licensed as a class B, C, or G security company with the Arkansas Security Services Contractors License Board for a minimum of three years, have a clean compliance record, and possess an established office in Pine Bluff, Little Rock, or within a 60-mile radius of Pine Bluff. Armed guards must be 21 years or older, and unarmed guards must be 18 years or older.
Failure to comply with mandatory requirements may result in breach of contract, termination, and potential disqualification from future bids. The contract administrator may assess reasonable charges against the contractor's performance security for defaults.
A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on August 5, 2026, at 1:00 PM CST at the Facilities Management Building, **** L. A. Prexy Davis Drive, Pine Bluff, AR 7****, which includes a site walk.
Proposals may be rejected if they are late, do not comply with all provisions, take exceptions to requirements, or if the contractor fails to attend the mandatory pre-bid conference.
