Background Check Government Bids & RFPs

The bid must be submitted to Baton Rouge Community College, **** Jefferson Highway 326, Baton Rouge, LA ****, on or before April 17, 2026, at 10:00 a. m. CST. The drop-off location opens at 9:00 a. m. CST.

The bid notice states that payment will be made within thirty 30 days after receipt of invoice, delivery, and authorized inspection and acceptance, whichever occurs last.

A purchase order or contract will be awarded to the bidder who has provided a responsive and responsible bid at the most favorable bid price as determined by the signed bid form.

The bidder must have been an established business having at least three 3 years satisfactory experience in the full-time security guard services. In accordance with Louisiana revised statutes 37:3270-3298, all bidders eligible for award must be licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Private Security Examiners and have adequate insurance coverage prior to award. Proof of license must be provided when bids are submitted.

If services are not in conformity or not performed within the requirements of the contract, the contractor agrees to pay stipulated damages. For each occurrence of a security guard not being present during the assigned work hours due to late arrival, early departure, or any other absence, contractor agrees to pay the sum of **** per hour one 1 hour minimum for each hour or portion thereof for which facility is unattended and until the post is staffed. Late arrival, early departure or any other absence will be defined as any absence over fifteen 15 minutes. The contractor agrees that for each occurrence in which a security guard reports for duty without the necessary equipment to properly perform their assigned duties, or with equipment that is not fully operational, the contractor shall pay the sum of **** per occurrence.

Bidders must attend pre-bid meetings at all sites. Bidder is responsible for inspecting any site required for the services and have acquainted themselves with all of the conditions under which the work will be performed.

Objections to the specifications or bid conditions shall be filed in writing and received by the BRCC purchasing department at least five 5 days prior to the date of the bid opening.

The bid notice does not specify a delivery deadline for the services, but reports are due within one week of each service visit.

The bid notice states that the contractor shall be paid, in accordance with net 30-day payment terms, upon receipt and acceptance of a proper invoice. Advance payment is not authorized.

The bid notice requires contractors to provide personnel that have been factory trained in the service and maintenance of a Tystar Minitytan **** furnace by the original manufacturer, Tystar, and have passed required government background checks to be issued badges for work on site.
