Contractors must possess a State of Florida Certified General Contractor license or any other state or county licenses, certifications or registrations deemed legally permissible by the city. Specific experience in movable bridge construction, repair, rehabilitation, and maintenance projects within Florida for a minimum of five years is required, with at least three projects of similar scope involving swing bridges, bascule bridges, or other movable bridge structures completed within the last ten years. Contractor must possess the following licensescertifications to be considered for award: State of Florida Certified General Contractor license or any other state or county licenses, certifications or registrations deemed legally permissible by the city to conduct the nature of the work required in this solicitation.
