This RFQ is for bathroom modernization repairs at Building 9 and demolition/repair at Building 16, Muniz Air National Guard Base, Carolina, PR. The period of performance is 180 days. The contract completion time is 180 days after notice to proceed, to include inspection and punch lists.
Invoices must be submitted using the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) internet program. The contractor and COR will draft and interim a DD Form **** for payment.
The material and workmanship for shower plumbing fixtures shall have a 1-year warranty. A contractor workmanship letter of warranty up to one year is required for closeout documentation.
Contractors must be registered and current in the System for Award Management (SAM) internet program. Employees must possess all required licenses for operating heavy equipment, welding, and material handling equipment.
The contractor is subject to all citations and penalties for violation of applicable workplace safety laws. The KO may notify the contractor of hazards and require abatement or mitigation action.
A pre-bid meeting and site visit is scheduled for on or about July 8, 2026. While not mandatory, the scheduled site visit is critical for mitigating potential risks.
Contractors are not compensated for unexpected gate closures or delays. Failure to comply with security forces policies and procedures for entry may result in termination of installation driving privileges or other actions.
