This is a non-
personal services contract for hospital laundry services, including linen, curtains, drapes, doctor coats, and dietary uniforms. The contract period is from October 2025 to September 2026. All processed items must be picked up, processed, and returned within 48 hours. The pickup site is Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC), Building 42817. The contractor must have at least 36 months of experience in providing hospital laundry services in healthcare environments. Personnel must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. A Program Manager (PM) with at least 24 months of experience is required. The PM and alternate must be available during normal duty hours to coordinate with government personnel. Contractor employees must present a neat appearance and wear distinctive clothing or identification tags. Employees must comply with Army policies, regulations, and procedures concerning fire, safety, environmental protection, sanitation, security, traffic, parking, flag courtesy, off-limits areas, and possession of firearms. A contingency plan for mobilization, labor disputes, disasters, and severe weather is required. A complete quality
control plan (QCP) must be established and maintained. Quarterly washroom tests for tensile strength and whiteness retention are required. All vehicles must be registered, licensed, insured, and operated in accordance with local and installation traffic regulations. The contractor must obtain aie badges for all employees. Commercial vehicles must enter through the Knox Street gate. Upon arrival at WAMC, drivers must notify linen personnel. Lost items must be turned over to the COR. If the follow-on contract is awarded to another contractor, the current contractor must cooperate for an orderly changeover. Semiannual linen inventories are required in April and October. Soiled and clean linen must be kept separate. Finished articles must conform to industry standards for cleanliness, finish, and appearance. The government may periodically visit the contractor's facility. The contractor must comply with OSHA bloodborne pathogens standards. Any items found not meeting requirements must be recleaned at no additional cost to the government.
