The notice describes the
repair of a damaged P23 Panther vehicle, part of an ARFF
truck. The
repair work includes
repairing the back fiberglass panel, fixing broken lights and safety devices, inspecting areas around the
repair, painting affected areas, and ensuring lettering and reflective striping match the existing ones. The contractor will be responsible for all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control. The
repair work should be consistent with the attached pictures and Rosenbauer recommendations. The US Air Force is willing to drive the vehicle 25 miles to the
repair facility, but any distance over that will be the vendor's responsibility. The period of performance is 59 days. The contractor must maintain an adequate workforce for uninterrupted performance, and employees must comply with installation regulations. The government does not permit telework. Unscheduled gate closures may occur. The contractor shall develop and maintain a quality control plan (QCP) and submit it to the contracting officer representative within 10 days of contract award. The government will evaluate the contractor's performance according to the quality assurance surveillance plan (QASP). The contractor will be responsible for
repairing the vehicle, reflective striping, painting, and broken items included with the
