The forthcoming Request for Proposal (RFP) will be an unrestricted procurement under NAICS code 315210. The award will result in a long-term, firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract with a four-year period. The contract will include tiered pricing across four 12-month ordering periods. Specific items required include the survival vest, mounting panels, expansion panels, general pocket assemblies, radio pocket assembly, and helmet attachments. Quantities provided are estimates. The acquisition will utilize best value trade-off source selection procedures, with non-cost/price factors including Product Demonstration Models (PDM) and Past Performance being more important than cost or price.
