Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is seeking potential providers for food safety realtime polymerase chain reaction (PCR) systems. Responses are due by email to ***@***. *. * by 1:00 PM Central Time, April 6, 2026. The FDA is interested in systems made in America, but also welcomes responses for products made outside America. Capability statements should include proposed product information, made in America status, business name, DUNS number, SAM number, contact information, NAICS code, small business representations, and country of origin. Minimum technical requirements for the system include compatibility with existing assays, a minimum of six distinct targets simultaneously, a 96-well format, specific dye compatibility, a dynamic range of 10 logs, and compliance with 21 CFR Part 11. The complete system shall include a laptop, user manuals, consumables for IQ/OQ/PQ testing, and training for up to 4 users. A minimum one-year manufacturer warranty is required. The place of performance is multiple FDA laboratory locations across the United States. Respondents should provide sufficient technical information to demonstrate their capabilities. No proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in responses.

The complete system shall include at minimum a one-year manufacturer warranty from the date of installation.
Respondents shall furnish sufficient technical information necessary for the government to conclusively determine that the offered product/services meet the general requirements/specifications identified herein. At a minimum, responses shall include: business name, DUNS number, business address, business website, business size status (e. g. , SB, VOSB, SDB, WOSB, LB), point of contact name, mailing address if different from business address, phone number and email address. Sufficient descriptive literature that unequivocally demonstrates that the offered service can meet the herein general requirements/specifications, including technical specifications, descriptive material, literature, brochures and other information, which demonstrates the capabilities of the respondent to meet the general requirements/specifications.
