facility parking lots and sidewalks at the Richard L. Roudebush VA medical center in Indianapolis, IN, requires a contractor to provide all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision. The work must be completed within 90 days from the issuance of the notice to proceed. A site visit is scheduled for May 28, 2025. The solicitation is set aside for a servicedisabled veteran owned small business. Offers are due by a specific date and time, and must be submitted via email only. A weekly progress meeting with the contracting officer is required. The contractor is responsible for all signage, wayfinding signage, temporary means of egress, vehicle paths, and
parking signage. The contractor shall secure all materials, equipment, and tools before, during, and after service. The contractor is responsible for the physical security of the job site, materials, tools, and equipment, as well as daily inspections for organization and cleanliness before exiting the job site. The contractor shall comply with all aspects of contract specifications and submit a request for information (RFI) for clarification or additional information if the project documents are not clear. All submittals shall be submitted to the contracting officer and comply with the project specifications. The contractor shall submit an ICR plan, a safety plan, a construction schedule, a site logistics plan, submittals, OSHA certificates, and a traffic control plan within 10 calendar days from the NTP. The plans shall be approved by the VA contracting officer. A responsibility check will be accomplished for the apparent awardee prior to award. Requests for information (RFI) are due by a specific date. A bid guarantee is required in an amount not less than 20 percent of the bid price but shall not exceed $3,000,000. Performance and payment bonds are due no later than 10 days after notification of award.
