Delta Township is soliciting proposals from qualified professional services firms to conduct a comprehensive study for the Snow Road corridor. This study will evaluate and identify feasible options for replacing the existing water main on Snow Road and constructing a new nonmotorized pathway along Snow Road and Cornerstone Drive. The selected consultant will be responsible for identifying and evaluating alignment alternatives, developing conceptual engineering drawings, and providing planning-level cost estimates for both components. The study must also assess opportunities for coordination and collocation of improvements, identify key constraints, and include a traffic analysis for pedestrian crossings. The township desires to complete the study by the end of October 2026, with a formal award anticipated by June 15, 2026. Proposals must be submitted by Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 4:00 p. m. in both paper and PDF format to the Delta Township Clerk's Office. The proposal should include firm information, an organizational chart, resumes and qualifications, example projects, references, a detailed work plan and approach, a proposed schedule, and an itemized fee proposal. Insurance requirements include general liability, automotive liability, and professional liability. Potential conflicts of interest must also be disclosed.
The proposals must be received no later than Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 4:00 p. m.
Delta Township will evaluate proposals based on the consultants' ability to provide the services required, relevant project experience of the firm and assigned personnel, qualifications of assigned personnel, compatibility of the submission with respect to this RFP, reference analysis from other communities, and any past experience with Delta Township.
Firms must demonstrate capability to perform or provide all services required for the successful completion of the project, including civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, project management, data collection, alternatives development, traffic analysis, bridge evaluation, conceptual design, and cost estimating.
Proposals received after the submission deadline will not be considered.
