A pre-bid meeting and site visit has been scheduled for April 15, 2026, at 10:00 a. m. at the site (100 Oakcreek Drive, Lincoln, NE ****). This will be the only opportunity for a site visit with City of Lincoln staff, and all interested bidders are encouraged to attend.

The question deadline is April 17, 2026, at 02:00 PM CT.

The bid notice states that proposals are due no later than Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 2:00 p. m. Late proposals will be returned unopened.

The bid notice states that unless otherwise agreed, the district will pay properly submitted vendor invoices within thirty (30) days of receipt of goods or services, or a combination of both. Payment will not be made until goods or services are delivered, installed if required, and accepted as specified.

Price will be the most heavily weighted criterion.

The bid notice states that the district reserves the right before awarding the contract to require proposers to submit or provide evidence of qualifications or any other information the district may deem necessary. The district will award the RFP to the most responsive and responsible proposer whose proposal is the most advantageous to the district.

The bid notice states that in the event any of the provisions of this RFP are violated by the proposer, the district will give written notice to the proposer stating the deficiencies and unless these deficiencies are corrected within ten (10) days, recommendation will be made by the district for immediate cancellation. Cancellation of contract of awardee may result in the removal from the district's bidders list for a period of three (3) years.

The bid notice states that it is the proposer's responsibility to demonstrate equivalency of proposed products. The district has the discretion to request, and test, product samples prior to the award of the RFP.

The bid notice states that any proposer who is adversely affected by the recommendation award may file a protest within the time prescribed per the district's protest policy. A proposer may protest the bidding process for the project only by filing a written protest with the district's director of purchasing, print shop, and warehouse, Paul Lopez, not later than seventy-two (72) hours prior to the scheduled board meeting.
