Procurement of an abrasive belt grinder meeting specific salient characteristics. Key features include a 5 hp motor, air-assisted belt tensioning for 1x90 inch belts, a swing frame guard with dust collection interface, a 6-inch drive pulley, an 8-inch contact wheel, adjustable belt tracking, T-style handle bars, an air assist system for grinding pressure, a lathe attachment fixture, and an adjustable gage wheel. The equipment must be delivered fully assembled and ready for operation. Abrasive belts and dust collection equipment are not included.

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract to BAE Systems for the manufacture and delivery of approximately 829 STAR XIII Mission Computers for the C-130J fleet. This procurement is necessary to address the obsolescence of legacy mission computers and mitigate operational readiness risks. BAE Systems is identified as the original equipment manufacturer and the only known source with the necessary expertise and technical data for this proprietary system. Awarding to any other source would cause significant delays and costs. The statutory authority for this sole source procurement is 10 ****(a)(1). A previous sources sought notice did not yield any other capable sources. This notice is not a request for proposals, but responsible sources may submit a capability statement within 15 calendar days of publication.

This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) from Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools for the replacement of one DX split unit AHU2 with a new rooftop unit at West Forsyth High School. Prior to visiting the site for additional pre-bid inspections, bidders must notify the owner's agent at least 48 hours but not more than 96 hours in advance. Deviations from specifications must be clearly identified in the bid. Bids can be withdrawn prior to the scheduled opening time. Contract documents can only be altered by written addendum. Information to be furnished with the bid includes notes taken at the project site and bid deviations. The installation must be completed and operational by August 1, 2026, if mechanical components are available by May 1, 2026. The contractor must also reinstall interior and exterior trim, replace any damaged trim or ceiling tiles, and install caulk or sealant around penetrations. Copies of general liability and workers' compensation insurance are required. The contractor is responsible for all debts incurred related to employees, subcontractors, leased equipment, or materials. Change orders must be in writing and approved by the school system. The contractor is responsible for cleaning up all materials and debris daily. Tobacco use is prohibited on school property. All construction must meet current North Carolina building codes and OSHA, state, and local laws and rules. Contractors must check in at the school office upon arrival. Alternates used for products must be submitted in writing and approved by the owner. The base bid is to replace one DX split unit AHU2 with a new rooftop unit. Work construction starts after award within 14 days, with a work completion date of 120 days after all equipment is delivered or as agreed with the owner. No demolition of working equipment shall take place until new equipment is delivered. Bidders are encouraged to obtain a minimum of 10% MWBE participation.
