Bathtub Refinishing Government Bids & RFPs

The Everett Housing Authority is requesting written price responses from bathroom refinishing contractors for tub cutouts at elderly housing developments in Everett, Massachusetts. Bid forms and contract documents will be available on September 2, 2025, and bids must be received by 4:00 PM on Thursday, September 18, 2025. Bidders must be authorized to bind the vendor, and comply with Louisiana R. S. 39:1594. Bid bond is required. Maximum email attachment size is 125 MB. Payment terms: net 30 after receipt of invoice or delivery and acceptance. Quantities are approximate. Bidders must visit the jobsite and examine conditions. The university is exempt from Louisiana state and local sales and use taxes. The contract is subject to the laws of Louisiana. Mandatory bid requirements include certification statement, bid sheet/form, contractor qualifications, certificate of insurance, illustrative materials, and contact information. Pre-bid meeting scheduled for June 12, 2025, 10:00 AM. The university reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a certificate of insurance naming the university as an additional insured and grant a waiver of subrogation on all liability policies. The contractor is required to record the contract with the clerk of court in Lincoln Parish and must provide the purchasing department with proof of filing. A performance bond will be required at the time of the award of the contract. The contractor shall be responsible for all damages to the existing site, facilities, furniture, and equipment that are caused by this project. The contractor shall carefully document existing site conditions and existing damages prior to commencing work. The contractor shall repair all damage to its original, undamaged condition prior to completing this project. The contractor shall provide a sufficient amount of adequately trained staff to perform all required services in a timely manner. The contractor shall be responsible for compliance with all university policies, security measures and vehicle regulations. The university is a no smoking campus. The contract is nonexclusive. Requests for contract changes must be made in writing. The duration of the contract is not to exceed 12 months, unless otherwise specified. The continuation of the contract is contingent upon the appropriation of funds. Bidders must submit one signed original bid to the purchasing office. The university reserves the right to award items separately, grouped, or on an all-or-none basis. Only the issuance of an official purchase order constitutes acceptance of a bid. Bidders must attend any mandatory pre-bid meeting. Bidders proposing an equivalent brand or model should submit descriptive information with their bid submission. The contractor shall provide complete services Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The contractor shall provide a portable restroom for their employees to use. Contractors employees shall adhere to the university's tobacco-free policy. The contractor must provide all supplies, materials, tools, equipment, etc. necessary to complete the requirements of this contract. The university may allow the contractor to store tools, equipment, materials, supplies, etc. on site at university facilities, however, the university in no way warrants the security of any of this property. The contractor shall be responsible for security of their property. The university reserves the right to change these designated areas as needed and additionally the university is not required to provide these storage areas. The contractor shall be required to keep all designated areas in a neat i orderly manner. The contractor shall be required to provide insurance coverage for all equipment stored on site at grambling. The contractor assumes all risk with storing tools, equipment, and materials on site at university facilities. The university shall not be responsible for theft, damage, or other harm to any property of the contractor securing any property.
