All properly executed invoices will be paid in accordance with the library's payment terms: net 45. The Detroit Public Library does not provide advance deposits or upfront payments.
The contractor guarantees their products against defective material or workmanship and will repair or replace any damaged material/equipment. A manufacturer's warranty indicating the warranty or guarantee period must be available at the time of delivery or acceptance.
The award will be made to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid proposal meets the criteria of the evaluation committee, considering factors beyond cost such as technical suitability, vendor qualifications, product availability, and warranty.
Bidders must demonstrate technical experience, reputation for performance and service, product availability, longevity of service, years of continuous business, commitment to schedule, financial condition, current workload, and features/benefits of the proposed solution.
A mandatory site visit walkthrough meeting is scheduled for June 9, 2026, at 9:00 AM local time at the Main Library and Parkman Branch Library. RSVP is required by June 8, 2026.
The deadline to submit questions on bidnetdirect is June 12, 2026, at 4:00 PM.
Unauthorized contact with Detroit Public Library employees regarding this solicitation may result in disqualification. Failure to comply with instructions or submitting altered bid forms can also lead to rejection.
