The Town of Amherst is seeking bids for three 2026 or newer Kubota **** tractors (model ****PRMC) and attachments. A time and materials contract for preventative maintenance and repairs is also required. Bids are due July 9, 2026, at 12:00 PM. No equivalents will be accepted for the tractor model. Awards may be made in part or whole. Specifications and bid documents can be obtained via email. Bidders must submit four copies of their proposal with original signatures in blue ink.
The unit cost shall include delivery to the Town of Amherst Highway Department, located at **** North Forest Road, Williamsville, NY ****.
The town's policy is to pay all claims in a timely manner within the specified time. If payment is delayed, the town will take the discount when payment is made. The town will not pay any interest charges, nor refund discount amounts taken after the discount period.
A copy of the warranty shall be included with the bid submission.
Award to the lowest responsible bidder. For the purpose of determining which bidder is the lowest qualified responsible bidder, it shall be the lowest three bidders' responsibility, within five days of being so notified by the Contract Compliance Administration Department, to present information and documentation to the Director of Contract Compliance Administration, to satisfy the town that the bidder possesses sufficient capital resources, skill, judgment and experience to perform the work or deliver the material, as per bid specifications.

Questions received within 5 days of the bid opening will not be responded to.
Any change in wording or interlineation by a bidder of the inquiry as published by the Town of Amherst shall be reason to reject the proposal of such bidder, or in the event that such change in the invitation to bid is not discovered prior to entering into a contract, to void any contract entered into pursuant to such bid.
