The Texas Historical Commission (THC) is seeking bids for fire sprinkler modification services at the Sam Bell Maxey House. Bids must be submitted electronically by February 6, 2026, at 2:00 PM CST. The basis of payment and reimbursement of costs is set forth in exhibit ii, price schedule. Thc acceptance of deliverables specified in the contract is a condition of payment.
Upon final acceptance of the work by thc, the contractor shall furnish thc with the maximum available warranty on all installeddelivered materials and a oneyear warranty on the work.
THC will award a contract to a bidders whose bid is considered to provide best value to the state of texas, as defined by texas government code **** determining the best value, thc shall consider the following best value factors: item price, including total cost of ownership such as warranty terms and installation and lifecycle costs.
THC is seeking vendors that have a minimum of 5 years of experience similar to the type and scope of goods required andor services rendered by this ifb as judged by thc to be eligible for the contract award and have a sprinkler certificate of registration scr with the texas department of insurance.

Any bid protest must be in writing and received in the care of the ed within five 5 working days after the bidder is notified that the award of a contract is forthcoming or otherwise knows, or should have known, of the occurrence of the action which is protested.
