The Nevada State Purchasing Division, Department of Employment, Training, and Rehabilitation is seeking proposals for coffee machine rentals and repair services for the Bureau of Services to the Blind Visually Impaired (BEN) program in Southern Nevada, including the Hoover Dam. The contract will be for an initial four-year period, starting on 01/01/2026. Vendors must comply with Nevada law and state requirements, including contractor licensing, building permits, and safety standards. Quotes are due on 10/10/2025 at 5:00 PM. The winning vendors will be available for services as needed. The state does not guarantee any minimum volume of service. The vendor must respond to service calls by telephone within 15 minutes and physically respond to the site within 12 hours. The vendor must submit a written invoice with all supporting documentation upon completion of each service, repair, maintenance inspection, etc. Payment will not be made without all required documentation. The vendor must hold a state business license prior to contract execution. The state cannot enter a contract with a company that engages in a boycott of Israel.

The Florida School for the Deaf & the Blind (FSDB) is requesting proposals for various projects, including switchgear, transformers, inspections, lamp ballasts, lamp transformers, building maintenance, facility maintenance, and installation services. Work will occur while the building remains occupied, requiring careful scheduling, particularly for window replacement which must be completed during academic breaks, when the building is not occupied. The renovation includes removal of deteriorated wood trim and replacement with PVC trim, full replacement of hollow metal doors with prefinished aluminum storefront systems, and installation of new exterior hardware. All existing double- hung windows will be replaced with fixed aluminum units, and interior blinds will be upgraded to roller shades. Masonry repairs include both brick and cast stone restoration, foundation wall crack repairs, and concrete patching. Unsafe exterior stairs will be demolished and rebuilt, and existing canopies and supports will be removed and replaced with wall- mounted awnings complete with associated gutters and downspouts.
