OPERS is seeking an alternative assets consultant to provide advisory services for four asset classes: liquid alternatives, private equity, private credit, and real estate. The consultant will assist staff in identifying managers, conducting due diligence, and providing strategic advice. Proposals must be submitted by 8:00 am ET on August 31, 2026. Communication with OPERS staff, other than via ***@***. *. *, is grounds for disqualification.
Proposals will be evaluated based on criteria including resources and capabilities of firm, knowledge and experience of firm, breadth and quality of manager research demonstrated track record of manager recommendations, by asset class private equity, real estate, private credit, liquid alternatives, as evidenced by approval rates, subsequent manager performance, and watchlist termination history.
Vendors must submit a completed certification (Attachment 2) and respond to the vendor background questionnaire.
OPERS may ask any or all vendors to provide access for site visits during the evaluation process.
Vendor questions must be submitted no later than 8:00am et on August 17, 2026.
Failure to submit by the deadline or violating communication restrictions may result in immediate disqualification of the vendor.
