The City of Fairburn is seeking bids for the resurfacing of two existing tennis courts at Duncan Park. The project includes resurfacing, new color coating, and updated game striping to improve safety and appearance. A mandatory pre-bid site visit is scheduled for July 9, 2026. The city shall pay the service provider, subject to any authorized deductions, the applicable prices set forth for each service authorized by the city, and delivered or performed, as the case may be, by the service provider to the satisfaction and acceptance, as appropriate, of the city. Items in dispute shall be paid upon the resolution of the dispute.
The bid specifications request information on the warranty included for workmanship and materials, asking for the type of warranty documents that will be included upon project completion.
The city of Fairburn reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities, and to make an award in the best interest of the City of Fairburn.
Bidders must provide a history and organizational structure of the firm, including a cover letter, company history, organizational structure, management organization, permanent employees by discipline, and project coordination structure. They must also provide a business license and proof of registration in Georgia.
The contract includes provisions for default and termination, where the city has the right to terminate the contract for default if the service provider fails to perform its obligations. The service provider may be paid for work earned to the date of termination, but the city can offset damages.
A mandatory pre-bid site visit is scheduled for Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 11:00 AM EST at Duncan Park, **** Rivertown Road, Fairburn, GA ****.

Failure to provide complete and accurate information in response to the requested information for determination of responsibility may result in rejection of the bid.
