The action is required to procure the needed support contract so that: 1) nawcwd's infoblox instances are compliant, and 2) that nawcwd's network engineers have the necessary technical support available. This purchase is intended to be a manufacturer sole source procurement to Infoblox, Inc. , and to be competed among GSA schedule holders. The infoblox support subscriptions are needed to maintain compliance for nawcwd's existing infoblox instances. A support subscription renewal maintains the approval to operate on nawcwd headend network services. The infoblox subscription is unique in the support provided. NAWCWD will seek additional discounts from the schedule holder before placing an order, as the order will exceed the simplified acquisition threshold, in accordance with FAR **** research was not conducted. Only one source is capable of providing the highly specialized support needed to maintain our current infoblox installations.
