The bid is for a one-year contract for inmate clothing and sandals for Cleveland County. Bidders must submit a sample of all items with their bid. Bidders must submit their bids electronically through BidBuy by 10/08/2025 2:00:00 PM CST. The bid must remain firm for 90 days from opening. Required documents include a vendor disclosure or IPG active registered vendor disclosure, offer to the state of Illinois contract, BEP utilization plan, and, if applicable, a veterans small business program utilization plan. The state requires a fee of $15 to cover expenses related to the administration of the minority contractor opportunity initiative. The resulting contract may be partially or totally funded with federal funds. Bidders who hire qualified veterans and certain ex-offenders may be eligible for tax credits.
