Proposals are due by 9:00 AM EST on August 19, 2026.

Partial payments will be made as work progresses, with a five percent retention until final completion and acceptance. Final payment is conditioned upon submission of satisfactory evidence that all claims for labor, materials, and other indebtedness have been paid.

The proposer shall remedy any defects in the work and pay for any damage to other work resulting therefrom that shall appear within a period of eighteen 18 months from the date of final acceptance of the work, unless a longer period is specified.

Proposals will be evaluated based on technical criteria (experience and expertise, audit approach) with respective weights, and pricing. The selection committee will rank proposals based on qualifications, with total points serving as a tiebreaker.

Proposers must be qualified and licensed to provide auditing services and practice in the state of Florida, have at least five years of experience providing similar services to a municipality, and meet other specified minimum qualifications.

If the work is not completed on or before the date set for completion or any extension thereof, the proposer shall pay the city fixed, agreed, and liquidated damages in the amount of $500 per day for each calendar day of delay.

Failure to comply with submission requirements may result in the proposal being deemed nonresponsive. Lobbying of evaluation committee members, city employees, or elected officials is strictly prohibited and may cause the proposal to be rejected.

Firms must be qualified and licensed to do business in Camden County. All firms doing business in camden county are required to hold a current valid business license within the municipality where the home office is located.
