Sealed bids are requested for historic gravestone restoration and re-setting. Bids are due by July 13, 2026, at 2:00 PM. A site visit is mandatory to identify stones for restoration. The contract will be for three years, from July 1, 2026, to December 29, 2028. The estimated annual budget for historic cemetery stone restoration is up to $125,000. Contractors must provide qualifications of stone conservators, firm history, and references. Restoration work shall adhere to National Park Service and National Cemetery Administration standards. Hourly rates for stone conservators will be bid, with materials billed at wholesale cost plus 10%. Invoices require before/after photos, stone name, and a written description of work. The contract amount is not to exceed an annual expenditure of $100,000.
