Mower Biddings - Procurement Opportunities

This is an invitation to bid for remote non-remote-controlled slope mowers. ODOT will accept all responsive bids submitted on or before the specified bid opening date and make an award to all responsive bidders. The contract duration is 12 months from the date of award. Bid prices must include delivery charges, free on board (FOB) to 12 districts and 88 county destination locations in Ohio. Delivery must be completed within 200 calendar days of receipt of a valid purchase order. Delivery hours are 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, unless otherwise permitted. Each vehicle must be delivered with a full tank of fuel and diesel exhaust fluid. Vendors must accept purchase orders for new units throughout the contract. Invoices must be emailed to ***@***. *. * on the date of delivery. A certificate of title or certificate of origin must be furnished within 30 days of delivery. Vendors must provide a list of authorized onsite service providers or authorized dealers in Ohio. Bidders are recommended to provide a complete manufacturers options list. Bidders must submit the latest literature describing the units in both hard copy and electronic format. ODOT reserves the right to offer used, operational equipment as trade-ins. Vendors must fill out a fluids/lubricants tab to the manufacturer's standard recommendation. Bid pricing shall not increase for the first 60 calendar days after the bid opening. All parts necessary for a complete unit must be furnished. Equipment must meet all federal and state regulations. Vendors must be registered with Ohio Shared Services to obtain an Oaks vendor identification number. Bid responses must be submitted electronically in OhioBuys before the published deadline. If a second round is issued, vendors must resubmit their bid. The signature process takes place after the award. Vendors must have an Oaks Payor ID before a contract can be issued. Bidders should submit the pricing page in the original Excel format. Any discrepancies, omissions, ambiguities, or conflicts in the bidding documents must be brought to the department's attention at least three business days prior to the bid submission deadline. The department reserves the right to hold mandatory or optional prebid conferences. Late bids will not be accepted. Once opened, all bids are firm and cannot be altered. A bidder may withdraw their bid in OhioBuys prior to opening. Bidders may modify their bid response prior to the bid opening. Bidders should not insert a unit cost of more than two digits to the right of the decimal point. Bidders must incorporate into their unit bid prices all costs and fees associated with the state's use of a payment credit card. Discounts will not be used to alter the submitted unit bid prices. The department may request additional information to evaluate a bidder's responsiveness and responsibility. The department may require bidders to provide sample supplies or equipment. The department is authorized to prepare specifications and establish contracts. Unless otherwise specified, all products must be new. The department may use brand name or equal specifications. Statements or modifications that deviate from the terms, conditions, specifications, and requirements may render a bid nonresponsive. Any purchase estimates are considered estimates only. The department reserves the right to reject any or all bid responses, award partial contracts, or choose to rebid. The department will notify each affected bidder and the reasons for such actions. Any apparent low bidder deemed not responsible or whose bid has been deemed nonresponsive shall be notified by the department in writing and at the email address provided. The bidder will have five calendar days after receipt to file a written protest. Delays in contract award may result in a change in the contract period. The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) is seeking proposals for a tractormower contract. The deadline to respond is Tuesday, June 3, 2025, prior to 2:00 PM local time. Responses must be received in a sealed envelope clearly displaying the contract number and vendor name. The request for proposal (RFP) includes detailed information on project requirements, proposal requirements, evaluation criteria, award process, terms and conditions, insurance requirements, specifications, and other important details.
