The State of Nebraska State Purchasing Bureau is soliciting bids for a commodities contract to provide LED red/white obstruction lighting systems for communication towers. This is a Request for Information (RFI) for Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support. Responses are due July 27, 2025, at 5:00 PM EDT. The RFI seeks information from vendors interested in competing for a SETA contract. The government will utilize support contractor/non-government personnel to assist in collecting and reviewing market information. Vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be awarded a contract. The RFI requests general company information, business address, commercial and government entity cage code, company size, unique entity identifier, current contract, and whether the company falls within specific categories (e. g. , small business, woman-owned business, veteran-owned small business). The RFI also requests technical and security point of contact information, and documentation of the contractor's top secret facility clearance. Operational and performance assumptions are detailed in enclosure A001. The government anticipates future procurement services based on the market research provided by this RFI. The industry day scheduled for August 27, 2025, has been postponed due to overwhelming response.
