The bid will be awarded to the lowest responsive responsible bidder based on the given requirements.

For contracts of $30,000 or greater, the county requires participation in an apprenticeship training program and submission of a certificate of apprenticeship and training with bid response.

Failure to timely submit certified payrolls shall result in core construction and the county withholding payment under the awarded contract.

Prior to submitting a bid each bidder shall visit the site of the proposed work and fully acquaint himself with conditions as they exist, so that he may fully understand the facilities, difficulties and restrictions which may affect the work and cost thereof.

When required, samples of items must be submitted within the timeframe specified and at no expense to core construction or the county and, if not destroyed in testing, will be returned at the bidders request and expense.

No inquiries, written or otherwise, will be accepted within 72 hours prior to the time and date of the bid opening.

Bids which contain qualifications or conditions inserted for the purpose of limiting or otherwise qualifying the responsibility shall be subject to rejection.

All replacement glass shall be fabricated, delivered, installed, and accepted within 180 calendar days of award unless otherwise approved by the government.

The contractor shall provide product warranty information as a deliverable.

The contractor shall demonstrate experience installing and replacing commercial impact-resistant glazing systems.

All work must be completed by December 2027.

Certificate must guarantee application for a minimum of 5 years from the date of treatment.
