This is an invitation to bid for Lecture Recital Hall AV Lighting Equipment from Illinois Central College. Bids are due and will be opened on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 10:00 AM in CC102. Bidders must submit their proposals via email to ***@***. *. * with the subject line Lecture Recital Hall AV Lighting Equipment High Importance. Late or unsigned bids will not be considered. Substitutions require advanced approval via email by Wednesday, May 27, 2026. Only new equipment should be bid. All submitted materials are subject to public inspection. Illinois Central College reserves the right to seek clarification and may reject proposals for failure to respond. No claims for errors or omissions will be considered. Vendors are responsible for notifying the purchasing coordinator of any discrepancies. Errors in pricing can lead to withdrawal of the bid if realized before recommendation for award. The vendor warrants that all materials and equipment will be new, of good quality, and free from defects. Illinois Central College is tax-exempt. In case of a tie bid, an indistrict vendor will be favored. Prices must be firm for 60 days from the bid opening. The award will be made to the lowest responsible bidder for each item, with the possibility of multiple awards. The college reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Payment will be made approximately 45 days after receipt and acceptance of equipment. Signature on the bid document signifies acknowledgment of any addenda. Affirmative action policies are in place to support minority and female participation. Bid proposal forms must be completed by typewriter or computer, and handwritten prices will not be accepted. Bids from corporations must be executed by an authorized officer. All bids must be signed. Any invitation to bid may not result in an award, and the college reserves the right to cancel at any time.
