The government is seeking repair of IT and telecom network equipment. The resultant award will be issued bilaterally, requiring the contractor's written acceptance. A repair turnaround time (RTAT) of 90 days is required. Government source inspection (GSI) is required. Freight is handled by the Navy. The quote must include quote amount, RTAT, unit price, and total price. Any delay in meeting the required RTAT will incur a price reduction per unit per month. The resultant contractual delivery requirement is measured from asset return to the date of asset acceptance. The contractor must obtain final inspection and acceptance by the government for all assets within the RTATs established in this contract. The government intends to add an option quantity to the resultant contract. Any asset for which the contractor does not meet the required RTAT will incur a price reduction per unit per month the contractor is late. If a price reduction is required due to unexcusable contractor delay, the contracting officer will implement the aforementioned price reduction via a reconciliation modification at the end of the contract performance. Price reductions made pursuant to this section shall not limit other remedies available to the government for failure to meet required RTATs, including but not limited to the government's right to terminate for default.

The USDA Forest Service intends to award a firm fixed-price, base plus two 2 option years, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to Met One Instruments, Inc. for the procurement of 100 new PM2. 5 capable smoke monitors, associated parts, and support services. The procurement is justified as sole source due to the proprietary nature of the equipment, parts, and services, and the compatibility requirements with existing systems. No other vendors are capable of providing the required equipment and services. A sources sought notice was published on SAM. gov, but only one response was received, and that vendor could not provide proof of authorization. The contract is estimated to be over the life of the contract. The agency will continue to monitor emerging technologies for future acquisitions.
