Tompkins County is seeking a qualified Physician/Medical Director to provide comprehensive medical services for incarcerated individuals. Minimum qualifications include an active, unrestricted NYS license to practice medicine (MD or DO), active federal DEA registration, successful completion of a criminal background check, and professional liability insurance with minimum limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $3,000,000 in annual aggregate. At least five years of professional correctional healthcare experience is required.
