This solicitation is open only to certified DVBE firms for vehicle gate maintenance services at the Veterans Home of California in Fresno. All questions must be submitted via email. Proposals must be submitted in one original and one electronic copy (thumb drive) to Tina Waterman, Purchasing Manager, Combined Operations Maintenance Facility, 311 North State Street, Concord, NH, ****, by 2:00 PM on August 25, 2025. Proposals will be evaluated based on criteria including vehicle stopping capability, ease of deployment, storage, cost-effectiveness, visibility, safety standards, warranty, weather resistance, training, adaptability to surfaces, barrier sizes, local customization, spare parts, inventory, and documentation. The city has received grant funding of $259,000 for the first phase of barriers. The supplier must provide a no-cost option to return the entire system if grant funding becomes unavailable. The supplier must also provide a plan for using the $259,000 to protect crowds immediately and a phased plan to add to the system over time. Additional documents required include a proposal statement, supplier questions, price proposal form, specifications exception form, indemnification agreement, Form W9, and acknowledgement of insurance requirements. The city reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or any part thereof, to waive any formality, informality, information or errors in the proposal, to accept the proposal considered to be in the best interest of the city, or to purchase on the open market if it is considered in the best interest of the city to do so.

ODHS seeks to purchase customizable promotional goods. The bid opening date is August 1, 2025, 3:00:00 PM. If no bids are received by this date, ODHS will award the contract to Vendor You Name It Specialties. The goods include pens, chips clips, sticky notes, bar lights, thermal blankets, rescue flashlights, and notebooks with their logo.
