San Miguel County seeks an experienced, insured painting contractor to improve the interior appearance of the county jail and Sheriffs offices (approx. 6,000 sqft). The contractor must provide all materials and labor, paint cinderblock walls with acrylic or epoxy paint, and paint metal surfaces grey. The facility is continuously occupied, requiring a coordinated schedule. Proposals are due **** at 5:00 pm MT. Contractors must pass background and fingerprint checks. Approved invoices received by the finance office before the 1st day of the month will be paid on the tenth day of the month.
Contractor represents that the services pursuant to the contract documents will be performed in accordance with industry standards in all material respects.
The proposals will be evaluated and rated based on the factors listed below: company qualifications and capacity (20 points), qualification and experience of key personnel (20 points), availability of the contractor to complete the project on time or before the deadline (20 points), cost, approach and scheduling of the tasks required (30 points).
Proposals must include clear descriptions of the contractors capabilities to perform the requirements of the rfp, including company description, staff experience, and sample projects.
If contractor fails to comply with any material provision of the agreement, contractor shall be liable for all damages, including with limitation, the cost of procuring similar supplies or services.

All contractors will be subject to background and fingerprint checks because of the nature of these secure areas.
