The State of Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) is seeking sealed bids for DOTD Pulsar Traffic Counters. Bidders must meet exact specifications for the proprietary purchase. No substitutes are acceptable. Products are subject to laboratory testing before final acceptance. The solicitation for repair services of the chipcheck laser induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) unit is anticipated to be issued on December 13, 2024, with a closing response date of January 12, 2025. Gastops, Inc. is the sole source for this repair effort. The contract period is one year basic with four option years, starting on August 13, 2025, and ending on August 12, 2030. Delivery schedule will be provided in individual orders. The contract performance will be in the field as much as possible, and if not, at the contractor's facility. The requirement is not set aside for small businesses or any other socioeconomic concerns. Unit prices exceed $5,000, and UID requirements apply.

The solicitation for **** combination and miscellaneous instruments is a non-commercial firm fixed-price contract. The final award decision will consider price, past performance, and other factors. Surplus dealers, small business dealers, and distributors are invited to respond, including a completed surplus certificate and quantity/price information. The government may alter the acquisition strategy if purchasing existing surplus or newly manufactured inventory is in the best interest of the government. Delivery is requested within 144 days.
