The contract work shall be completed within 90 calendar days after the notice to proceed.

The sum of money shall be 1, 000 per calendar day more than the contract time as liquidated damages per section 8. 5 of the general conditions.

A mandatory prebid meeting will start at 10: 30 am on **** at the project site located at ayala park, **** marygold avenue, bloomington, ca **** submitted by firms not attending the mandatory prebid meeting will be rejected as nonresponsive.

The bid protest is submitted to and received by the department of public works special districts, 222 hospitality lane, second floor, san bernardino, ca, **** **** before 4: 00p. m. of the fifth business day following the bid opening.

The city of pensacola issues checks for payment of invoices on the 10th of each month. The signed receiving copy of the purchase order and a correct invoice must have been received by accounts payable activity prior to the 4th of the month. Items or services received on or after the 4th will be processed in the following month.

The contractor shall include a 12-month warranty survival of tree in good condition at completion of 24 months of regular irrigation/watering. Invoices are to be monthly for 24 months of watering.

Recommendations for award of bids are made to the mayor or city council based on the lowest and best responsible bidder meeting all conditions and requirements of the specifications.

Before a bid is considered for award, the bidder may be requested by the city to submit a statement of facts in detail as to their previous experience in performing similar or comparable work, and of their business and technical organization and financial resources and plant available to be used in performing the contemplated work.

Protests of the intended award of bid or contract must be in writing and received in the purchasing office within five 5 business days of the notice of intent to award.
