The City of Eugene is seeking bids for the installation of a dedicated RNG flare at the wastewater treatment facility. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on October 30th. Bids are due November 20th. Bidders must submit their bids through oregonbuys. This is a public works project subject to prevailing wage rates. An employee drug testing program is required. The city reserves the right to reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements.
The bidder agrees to fully complete the work within days after receipt of purchase order or notice to proceed is received from the city of eugene.
The contractor warrants to city for a period of one year from final acceptance of the work by city that all materials and equipment furnished under this contract will be new, unless otherwise specified, and the work will be of good quality, free from faults and defects and in conformance with citys specifications.
It is the intent of the city to award a contract to the lowest responsible bidder provided the bid has been submitted in accordance with the requirements of these bidding documents and does not exceed the funds available.
The bidder represents that bidder is properly licensed and adequately experienced, equipped, organized and financed to furnish and deliver the equipment specified and perform the services required.
The city may include liquidated damages of 150 per day for each day the work is not delivered as set forth in the contract, barring circumstances beyond contractors control.
A mandatory prebid meeting will be held on thursday, october 30th, at 9: 00 am. The location is at the wastewater facility located at 410 river avenue, eugene oregon ****.
The last date to protest solicitation is november 13, 2025.
