Contractor must hold a valid state of Florida certified building contractor (CBC), general contractor (GC), or roofing contractor license and have performed at least 3 projects of similar size and scope services as the prime contractor, that includes historical building restoration and removal and application of waterproofing sealants for a tiled dome roof, within the past ten (10) years.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 9:00 a. m. in the Polk County Administration Building. An authorized representative or agent of the bidder must be present at this meeting and site visit, as evidenced by their signature on the meeting's sign-in sheet, or the bidder's submittal will be considered nonresponsive. No additional site visits will be allowed.
