This acquisition seeks to upgrade the existing Monaco fire alarm system at five RAF locations. The upgrade is necessary due to the end of support for the current Windows 10 platform. The acquisition is a sole source procurement for Monaco Enterprise Inc. The justification for sole sourcing is based on the need for standardization and interoperability with existing systems, avoiding significant operational burdens and costs associated with multiple vendors. Market research was conducted, and no competing vendors were identified. The anticipated cost is considered fair and reasonable compared to other similar acquisitions. The contract will be drafted with three options to ensure availability of funds for each project and more easily manage any unexpected costs.
