This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products related to firetruck upfitting. The proposal due date has been extended to July 24, 2026. Payment shall be made for items accepted by the government that have been delivered to the delivery destinations set forth in this contract. The government will make payment in accordance with the prompt payment act 31 **** and prompt payment regulations at 5 CFR part ****.
All emergency lighting components must have a minimum 5-year factory warranty. The contractor warrants and implies that the items delivered under this contract are merchantable and fit for use for the particular purpose described in this contract.
The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The following factors will be used to evaluate offers: Price, Technical Acceptability, and Past Performance. The technically acceptability factor and past performance factor, when combined, are approximately equal to the price factor. The price factor is more important than the technically acceptability factor, which is more important than the past performance factor.
Offerors shall provide past performance information for three jobs completed with similar size, scope, and complexity within the past three years. Provide a description of the work performed, dollar amount, year completed, and client contact information name, phone, and email. The capability statement shall demonstrate an understanding of the solicitation, show technical proficiency and experience relevant to vehicle upfitting and similar work.
The contractor shall be liable for default unless nonperformance is caused by an occurrence beyond the reasonable control of the contractor and without its fault or negligence.
Most vendors did not provide past performance or a capabilities statement. This will be considered an incomplete proposal and considered unacceptable.
