Procurement of a thyroid uptake system with 1 well, including delivery, installation, and training. The system must be capable of performing thyroid uptake measurements and have an integrated well counter. A DICOM interface module, neck phantom, and test tubes for wipe samples are also required. The contractor shall provide one day of onsite training and a 12-month support plan. The place of performance is VA Medical Center East Orange, NJ. Offers are due by July 31, 2026, at 10 AM EDT.
System delivery, installation, and training shall be completed within the timeline agreed upon at contract award. Support services shall remain active for 12 months from date of system acceptance.
Payment will be made by the government in accordance with ****, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer System for Award Management, or ****, Payment by Third Party. Invoices shall be submitted in arrears.
The contractor shall provide the standard commercial warranty covering all equipment, parts, and labor. Warranty terms shall operate independently of the 12-month support plan.
The contractor must be a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) listed in the SBA certification database. Offers received from entities that are not certified SDVOSBs will not be considered.
In the event of termination for cause, the government shall not be liable to the contractor for any amount for supplies or services not accepted, and the contractor shall be liable to the government for any and all rights and remedies provided by law.
Misrepresentation of SDVOSB status can lead to debarment from contracting with the Department of Veterans Affairs for a period of not less than five years.
