This firm fixed price purchase order is for abatement and demolition services at the Buffalo VAMC. The work must be completed within 21 days of award and will be performed in Building 1, Room 625B. The contractor must have an active New York State Department of Labor asbestos handling license and all technicians must have an active asbestos certificate. The work must be performed during normal duty hours (Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-3:30 PM) unless a written request is submitted at least seven (7) working days in advance. The contractor is responsible for obtaining, inspecting, and maintaining required personal protective equipment (PPE) and access equipment. Numerous submittals are required, including a daily status report, work plan, schedule, Gantt chart, kickoff meeting minutes, employee lists, keys and lock combinations, electronic security memorandum, vehicle registration, accident prevention plan, fire safety plan, activity hazard analysis, OSHA training certificates, certificate of workers acknowledgment, and experience and qualifications. These must be submitted by specific dates and times. The VAMC is a health care facility and disruptions in operations are not feasible. All work must comply with federal and state regulations, including 10 NYCRR Part 73 and the Master Construction Specifications. The contractor must comply with all VAMC regulations, including parking, smoking, and security. The government owns the rights to all data/records produced as part of this contract. The contractor must obtain the contracting officer's approval prior to engaging in any contractual relationship with a sub-contractor.

This tender seeks bids for a power transformer. Three options are available for bidding: a base bid with all stainless steel tank, an alternate bid with a mild steel tank with a stainless steel top, and an alternate bid with an all mild steel tank. All options must include stainless steel radiators, control cabinet, and nitrogen cabinet. Alternate paint options are acceptable if deemed equivalent by the customer. The scope of work includes delivery, unloading, field assembly, and field testing. The current transformer accuracy is not specified, but all CTS should be C400 accuracy class except for X1 and X2, which are C100s. An outline drawing of the existing transformer is attached. Bids from international manufacturers are acceptable, provided all applicable ANSI, IEEE, and NEMA standards are met. A US-based service partner is acceptable for field service availability in the Southeast. If barge delivery is required due to bridge restrictions, Keys will assist with coordination and offloading at the Florida Keys aqueduct facility.
