Proposals are solicited for landscape maintenance services at two locations in Oklahoma. The contract term is from the agreement date through September 30, 2026, with an option to renew for four additional years. A mandatory site visit is required for eligibility. Indian preference will be given to certified respondents. Proposals are due by June 23, 2026. The evaluation will be based on specifications, schedule, ability to perform, self-performance, home office location, irrigation experience, and TERO certification.
Proposals must be received no later than June 23, 2026, by 5:00 pm. Proposals received after this deadline will not be considered and will not be considered for award.
The monthly service charge shall be payable monthly on or before the first day of each calendar month during the term of the agreement. The successful firm agrees to pay all sums due to subcontractors, laborers and material suppliers within ten 10 days of receipt of payment by the Cherokee Nation.
The evaluation will be based on specifications points (30), ability to perform work (20), self-performing work (20), home office location (10), irrigation system experience (20), and Indian preference TERO certification (10). The evaluation will be based on the evaluation factors and values stated in this rfp.
The Nation may investigate the responding party's ability to perform. The Nation reserves the right to reject any proposal if the evidence submitted by, or investigation of, such responding party fails to satisfy the Nation such responding party is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the contract and to complete the work contemplated therein.
A mandatory site visit for each location will be required for eligibility to submit a proposal. Mandatory site visit Tahlequah June 09, 2026 Tuesday at 11:00am and Mandatory site visit Vinita June 11, 2026 Thursday at 11:00am.
Contractors should submit comments and/or questions in writing no later than June 16, 2026, by 3:00 pm. Contractors should carefully review this rfp for errors, questionable or objectionable materials, and items requiring clarification.
Failure to provide proof of TERO certification, substantive and material conflicts of interest not declared, or substantive and material noncompliance to RFP requirements may result in disqualification. Nonresponsive proposals shall be eliminated and will not be evaluated.
