The performance period for the project will be 336 calendar days from issuance of the notice to proceed.

Payment will be processed via electronic funds transfer (EFT) in accordance with **** Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer System for Award Management.

Any contractor interested in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must be registered in www. ***. *. * order to qualify for award, your business size metrics information entered in your www. ***. *. * SAM registration must be less than or equal to the size standard specified above. Each offeror's www. ***. *. * registration will be reviewed by the government.

A site visit will be held at FCI Englewood to allow interested vendors the opportunity to examine existing conditions and the work area. Attendance is encouraged but not mandatory. Vendors wishing to attend must submit NCIC background check forms for all proposed attendees by the deadline stated in the solicitation.

The bid submission deadline is Wednesday, June 10, 2026, by 2:00 PM. For stocked parts, delivery is expected the same day if ordered before noon, or available for pickup the same day if ordered after noon. Ordered parts must arrive within a week or less.

The bid notice states that payment terms are Net 30.

The bid notice specifies that parts must have a standard manufacturer warranty, and the successful bidder will be required to furnish a type A general warranty upon award of the bid. This warranty shall be unconditional except for obvious abuse, misuse, or damage caused by the city.

The city reserves the right to award the contract in whole or in part, or to a separate bidder for each item group, or to award one contract for the entire bid, as determined to be in the best interest of the city.

Vendors responding to this solicitation must demonstrate established experience in supplying heavy-duty truck brake parts and components to fleet operations, governmental agencies, or equivalent large-scale customers, and the ability to source parts for a wide variety of heavy-duty truck makes and models.

The bid notice mentions that failure to consistently adhere to delivery times after award of the contract will be reason for cancellation of the contract.
