Deliveries will be made during regular school hours. All ordered items are expected to be in stock and available for two day delivery. if an awarded vendor is unable to meet this delivery requirement, they must notify the district upon receipt of the purchase order, and if anticipated delayed delivery does not meet the needs of the district, the district may obtain the item from an alternate source.
Payment of invoices is the responsibility of the participant that issued the purchase order. Inaccurate invoices will not be considered for payment until the accurate invoice is received, which begins net 30 days.
The manufacturers standard guarantee shall apply from the date the item is installed. during the guarantee period the successful bidder must repair andor replace the unit without cost to the district with the understanding that all replacements shall carry the same guarantee as the original equipment.
Awards will be made to the lowest responsible bidder, taking into consideration the reliability of the bidder, the quality of the materials, equipment, or supplies to be furnished, their conformity with the specifications, the purposes for which required, and the terms of delivery. The award for cooperative bus parts will be recommended to the lowest responsive and responsible bidders in part or in whole who meet all the terms of these specifications and the attached general conditions.
Bidders are required to provide three customer references from NY state school districts, BOCES, or public bodies for whom the bidder has supplied similar products and/or services. If the successful bidder fails to deliver as ordered, or within the time specified, or fails to make replacement of rejected articles, the school district may purchase from other sources and the successful bidder agrees to reimburse the school district promptly for excess costs.
