Roofing Contractors Government Bids & RFPs

Work must be completed within 90 calendar days following written notice to proceed. on or before the expiration of 90 calendar days following written notice to proceed.

Payment within 30 days after acceptance. the town agrees to pay for the equipmentservices within thirty 30 days after acceptance.

One-year warranty on all work. the contractor shall keep and maintain all work in good repair for a period of one 1 year from the date of completion.

Lowest evaluated or responsive bid price. the award shall be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated or responsive bid price.

Minimum 5 years experience and 5 similar projects required. a minimum of five 5 years experience is required as well as a minimum of five 5 projects completed.

Liquidated damages of $250 per day for delays. the town of south kingstown shall have the right to recover the amount of **** dollars per day for each and every working day elapsing in excess of 90 calendar days.

Objections to bids must be filed within 5 business days of bid opening. any objection to any bid on the grounds that it is nonresponsive to the invitation for bids must be filed with the purchasing agent within five 5 business days of the opening of the bids.

Bids without completed experience sheet may be rejected. any bid submitted without a fully completed experience sheet may be rejected by the owner.

Bids must be submitted electronically by November 10, 2026 at 11:30 AM. any bid document received after the deadline established will not be accepted, regardless of the delivery method.

Maintenance bond required for 1 year: maintenance bond in the amount of 100 guaranteeing against defective quality of work or materials for the period of: x 1 year.

Experience and qualifications questionnaire required: this questionnaire must be filled out and submitted as a part of the proposal. failure to complete this form or to provide any of the requested information will be grounds for the rejection of the bid proposal.

Failure to submit bid guarantee results in rejection: failure to submit a bid guarantee shall result in rejection of the bid. Also, late bids are not accepted.

Bids not marked properly may be opened prematurely. envelopes not so marked are submitted at the risk of the bidder and the school district assumes no responsibility for the premature opening of same.
