The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) requires offsite incineration services for 25,200 lbs. of microfilm records. The records contain personal identifiable information (PII) and must be destroyed to satisfy NIST **** standards. The records are located in Neosho, Missouri, and must be incinerated within a 200-mile radius. The contractor is responsible for all costs associated with the effort, including subcontractor requirements, shipping, and contingencies. The contractor must provide proof of bonding, insurance, and certification (NAID AAA or ISO 9000:2015). The period of performance is 45 days following award, with incineration completed no later than 14 days after record removal. The contractor must attend a kickoff meeting within 5 business days of award. The contractor must provide interim and final certificates of destruction. The government will not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers. The contractor shall perform to the standards specified in this performance work statement (PWS). The contract type is firm fixed price. No travel is authorized. The government will not be furnishing any property and/or equipment. Additional documents are required, including proof of bonding, insurance, and certification, chain of custody documentation, and verification of subcontractor compliance with VA Directive ****, Appendix A. The contractor must follow all VA policies, standard operating procedures, applicable laws, and regulations while on VA property. The solicitation is for the furnishing and installation of two incinerators for the Louisiana Department of Public Safety (DPS). Vendors must be registered in the LAgov vendor system. A mandatory jobsite visit is required prior to bid opening. A completed jobsite verificationform or a signed letter from the agency representative stating that the vendor has visited the jobsite must be included in the bidder's submission.
