The contractor must provide three types of analytical UPLC columns and one type of Quechers sorbent kits based on the specifications listed. Nevada Statewide Lotic Assessment, Inventory, and Monitoring AIM Data Collection for the 2026 Season Performance Work Statement ( PWS) 60 points in the 2026 field season, as reflected in table 1. Data collection occurs at randomly distributed and/ or targeted sites on wadable lotic systems on BLM administered lands throughout all BLM districts within Nevada as described in table 1. All lotic AIM core methods shall be collected including ph, specific conductance, temperature, pool dimensions, streambed particle sizes, bank stability and cover, floodplain connectivity, large wood, benthic macroinvertebrates, canopy cover, priority noxious vegetation, bankfull width, wetted width, floodprone width, human influence, photos and slope. Additionally contingent and supplemental methods as described in table 1 shall be implemented. Sample reach coordinates will be provided to the selected contractor as specified in table 2, project timelines and deadlines, at least one month prior to the start of data collection.
The project involves collecting lotic assessment, inventory, and monitoring data in Nevada for the 2026 field season. The period of performance is from November 1, 2025, to November 30, 2026. Data collection will occur at 60 points across various districts. The contractor is responsible for coordinating with BLM, hiring crews, equipment setup, data collection, quality assurance/quality control, data submission, and macroinvertebrate and water quality submission. Specific timelines and deadlines are outlined in tables 1 and 2. The contractor must provide hitch plans, coordinate pre- and post-collection meetings, and participate in quality control checks. Personnel qualifications, including a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and two years of experience, are required. Payment schedule and deliverables are detailed in table 4. Bidders must comply with all rules, regulations, and statutes relating to purchasing in the state of Mississippi. Prices quoted shall be firm for the term of the contract except that JSU shall receive the benefit of any price decrease in excess of five percent (5%). Vendor must provide written price reduction information within ten (10) days of its effective date. JSU reserves the right to modify or cancel in whole or in part its invitations for bids. A written purchase order or contract award furnished to the successful bidder within the time of acceptance specified in the IFB results in a binding contract without further action by either party and without modification of JSU's terms and conditions. The contract shall not be assignable by the vendor in whole or in part without the written consent of Jackson State University. Final inspection and acceptance or rejection may be made at the delivery destination, but all materials and workmanship shall be subject to inspection and test at all times and places, when practicable. All goods will be subject to inspection and testing by JSU to the extent practicable at all times and places. Authorized JSU personnel shall have access to any supplier's place of business for the purpose of inspecting merchandise. Tests shall be performed on samples submitted with the bid or on samples taken from regular shipment. In the event products tested fail to meet or exceed all conditions and requirements of the specifications, the cost of the sample used and the cost of the testing shall be borne by the supplier.
