Tree Planning Government Bids & RFPs

The contract work shall be fully completed by October 31, 2026.

The contractor shall keep in good order and repair any defect in all the work done under said contract for a period of one year from the date of payment of the final estimate.

The contract shall be awarded to the lowest qualified bidder.

The city may make investigations to determine the construction capabilities and financial resources of the bidder. The bidder shall furnish all requested information and data. The city reserves the right to reject any bid if the bidder is not properly qualified.

If the contract work is not fully completed within the time limit, the contractor shall pay the city **** per calendar day as liquidated damages.

Any questions on contract bid documents should be asked in writing via email no later than Monday, July 6, 2026, at 4:30 p. m.

Failure or refusal by the contractor to execute the contract and provide required bonds within fifteen days of receiving written notice of award will result in forfeiture of the bid security.

The government will pay the contractor the fixed price per month for standard services that have been satisfactorily performed.

Potential offerors need to possess Jamaican permits and licenses to operate legally throughout the territory. Copies of the licenses must be submitted in response to the sources sought and are excluded from the two 2 page limit.

Bidders must be qualified.

Qualified consulting firms are invited to submit statements of qualifications. The SOQ should include the consultant's name and contact information, curriculum vitae of the consultant and project team, a detailed description of the consultant's experience, how the consultant will keep city staff informed, three examples of documents prepared by the consultant, and three professional references. statements will be reviewed and evaluated by considering the quality of experience, strengthof the approach, and the responses to the rfq.
