The Galena Park Independent School District (GPISD) is soliciting proposals for perimeter security fencing and gates. The submission deadline is November 20, 2025, at 2:00 PM CT. Proposals must be submitted via the GPISD ebid system or delivered to the purchasing department. A pre-proposal conference will not be conducted. The initial contract term is one year, with the possibility of four one-year extensions. Vendors must provide pricing and discounts. Deliveries must be made within 45 days of the purchase order. The evaluation will consider price, vendor reputation, quality, and other factors. The contract is nonexclusive. Vendors must comply with all applicable laws and provide required insurance. The contract term begins January 12, 2026, through December 31, 2026. Vendors must submit a customer reference list upon request. Invoices are due within 45 days after the later of the date GPISD receives the goods, the service is completed, or the invoice is received. The district encourages the use of HUB, MWBE, and SBE vendors. The vendor must provide a signed Execution of Offer form.
The bid notice states deliveries of all orders will be f. o. b. destination, freight prepaid, and shall be completed within fortyfive 45 days upon receipt of purchase order.

The bid notice states all goods andor services provided by vendor under this agreement must be warranted to be free from defects in material, workmanship, and free from such defects in design for a period of one 1 year upon the later of gpisds acceptance of the product andor service or payment of the applicable invoice.

The bid notice states if vendor is unable to provide the goods or services at the prices quoted in vendors proposal or if vendor fails to fulfill or abide by the terms and conditions of the agreement, gpisd may take the following actions, in gpisds sole discretion, and vendor agrees to comply with gpisds actions: insist that vendor honor the quoted prices specified in vendors proposal have vendor pay the difference between vendors price and the price of the next acceptable proposal as determined by gpisd have vendor pay the difference between vendors price and the actual purchase price of the good or service on the open market andor recommend to gpisds board of trustees that vendor no longer be given the opportunity to submit a proposal to gpisd andor that this agreement be terminated.
The deadline for questions about this proposal is stated in the bid activities and the district will not respond to questions after this time and date.
